Summer Spirit Week! 2023
As we approach the end of our summer session, we can't help but reflect on the incredible time we've had with your children at Smartstart Montessori in Forney, TX. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of their growth and learning journey. To commemorate the wonderful memories and bid farewell to this amazing summer, we have planned an exciting "End of Summer Spirit Week" from Monday, July 31st to Thursday, August 3rd.
Here's a rundown of the fun-filled dress-up themes for each day:
Monday, July 31st - Pajama Day: Let's start the week off cozy and comfortable! Students are invited to wear their favorite pajamas to school. It's the perfect way to ease into the spirit week and reminisce about the fun summer slumber parties.
Tuesday, August 1st - Superhero Day: Every child has a superhero within them! On this day, our students can dress up as their favorite superheroes or even create their own superhero persona. Let's celebrate the powers of imagination and creativity!
Wednesday, August 2nd - Career Day: As we prepare our students for the future, let's inspire them to dream big. Children can come dressed as the professionals they aspire to become one day. From doctors and firefighters to astronauts and artists, the possibilities are endless!
Thursday, August 3rd - Beach Day: We're bringing the beach to Smartstart Montessori! Students can wear their best beachwear, such as colorful swimsuits, flip-flops, and sun hats. We'll have a blast with beach-themed activities to make this last day of summer session extra special.
Friday, August 4th - Teacher In-Service Day: As much as we love spending time with our students, our teachers also need time for professional development and planning. Smartstart Montessori will be closed on this day to ensure our educators are fully equipped to continue providing the best learning experiences for your children.
End of Summer Party!
On Thursday, August 3rd, we will be hosting an "End of Summer Party" exclusively for our students and staff. It will be a day filled with laughter, games, and heartfelt farewells. Our goal is to create lasting memories that they can cherish throughout the upcoming school year.
We sincerely appreciate the trust you've placed in us to nurture and educate your children. Our dedication to their growth and development will continue into the new school year and beyond.
